What is your role at Parspec?

I am a Product Manager with the Engineering Team. My core focus as of now is the management of data pipelines that power the crawlers and AI models. I am also closely working on all behind-the-scenes nitty gritties for Product Finder Tool & slowly working my way into other features.

Why did you join Parspec?

It's quite exciting to be one of the first ones to attempt digitizing workflows in the AEC industry. Parspec seemed like a great opportunity to learn and grow quickly!

What challenges are you looking forward to trying to solve?

Automating & streamlining processes that are being done manually.

What do you see as the most exciting trends or developments in your domain right now?

The latest AI trends are quite powerful. And using the same in what we build is a very exciting prospect!

What do you think is the most important skill that a successful professional needs to have?

Problem-solving, communication & ensuring that you always keep learning.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

A huge cup of good old masala chai.

What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?

Work can be stressful at times. It's very important to dedicate time to take care of yourself physically & mentally!

What techniques help you stay organized and productive?

Documenting & organizing tasks to the best of my abilities by using available resources at hand.

What sparked your interest in the technology industry?

My role requires me to work at the intersection of business, technology and user experience. The goal is to solve the problem in the best possible way & tech is a powerful means to do it. It's fascinating to see how manual/time-consuming processes can be made so much more efficient by using simple scripts, using AI, IoT etc.

Are there any recent projects or initiatives at Parspec that you’re particularly excited about, and why?

Working on Product Finder Improvements & onboarding to Quoting features.

What is the biggest challenge that you’ve faced since joining the team?

Streamlining/managing the grunt work for long periods of time as you get easily distracted to more interesting tasks at hand. I have slowly learned to manage my time in this regard & also better communicate the expectations to team.

What are your career goals? Where do you think Parspec can take you?

I want to grow in Product as a career. I have worked as a developer and a business analyst in product operations & have found my calling to be at the intersection of it all. I always seek growth and always look for ways to learn from team members.

I think Parspec will enable me to do all of this, given the kind of problems we are looking to solve.

If you were not working at Parspec, where would you be?

Not sure where I would be, but definitely learning or working on things that I love!

What is your favorite food?

Home-made mutton curry cooked by my mom!

What do you like to do outside of work?

Restaurant hopping, cooking and just chilling with family and friends. I have also picked up gardening recently!

Describe your perfect weekend.

1 day dedicated to my passions outside of work & 1 day of doing nothing :) -> This is the perfect combo.

Where are you located?

I am currently working from Bangalore.
