Meet Sean Lowry, Parspec’s Business Development Manager

In today's spotlight, we're thrilled to introduce Sean, a key member of the Business Development team at Parspec. Sean has been an absolute pleasure to work with and to see grow since he joined our team. His data-first approach and persistence have not only allowed him to succeed but have also provided inspiration for those with whom he works. Sean lives on a farm in Sacramento, CA, loves to fly fish, aquascape, camp, and play in the outdoors. We are fortunate that Sean can add 'sales' to the laundry list of things he loves to do.

What is your role at Parspec?

Business Development - develop relationships with new prospective customers via cold outreach.

Why did you join Parspec?

I joined Parspec because I saw the potential to innovate in the construction industry, and because of the strength of the Parspec team and leadership.

What challenges are you looking forward to trying to solve?

I am looking forward to assisting industry-leading companies in enhancing their operational processes, optimizing time management, and boosting efficiency.

What do you see as the most exciting trends or developments in your domain right now?

Automated outreach with AI. There is still a lot of room to improve in this area, especially around attempts at automated personalization, but it is interesting to keep an eye on.

What do you think is the most important skill that a successful professional needs to have?

Consistency and grit.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Knowing that I can make an impact not only within Parspec, but in the industry we serve more broadly.

What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?

Consistency is key - there are always going to be ups and downs  but focusing on your goals and showing up every day with the right attitude goes a long way.

What techniques help you stay organized and productive?

Time blocking - it helps prioritize tasks, minimize distractions, and encourages focus on specific activities during dedicated periods.

What sparked your interest in the technology industry?

I grew up in the Bay Area, so witnessing the impact many "local" technology companies have had on the world always sparked my interest in one day working in the industry.

Are there any recent projects or initiatives at Parspec that you’re particularly excited about, and why?

Continuous improvement and expanding my skill set.

What are your career goals? Where do you think Parspec can take you?

My goal is to be in a closing role, I know that Parspec will be an excellent place to build the necessary skills and be supported as I move toward my goals!

If you were not working at Parspec, where would you be?

Likely at another startup looking to shake things up in their industry!

What is your favorite food?

Sushi.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Fishing, playing basketball, aquascaping, spending time with friends and family.

Describe your perfect weekend.

Fishing trip with friends.

Where are you located?

Sacramento. I live on an old family farm.
