What is your role at Parspec?
I work as a Senior Software Engineer II. On a day-to-day basis, I manage a team of developers, lead the development of features, manage releases, and mentor fellow developers.

Why did you join Parspec?
Parspec offered the perfect mix of a startup environment, real technical challenges, and the opportunity to tackle different scalability problems as we grew.

What sparked your interest in the technology industry?
I enjoyed coding during my high school days and felt it could be a good career for me.

How do you see Parspec impacting the AEC industry? 
We optimize quote and submittal generation, as well as product selection for these documents. The impact is significant time savings in creating them, which ultimately saves money for our customers.

If you were not working at Parspec, where would you be?
I would be at a product-based tech firm.

What do you think is the most important skill that a successful professional in your domain needs to have?
Perseverance.

What is the biggest challenge that you’ve faced since joining the team?
Managing new joiners while ensuring that the momentum of feature development is maintained.

What do you see as the most exciting trends or developments in your domain right now? 
GenAI.

What techniques help you stay organized and productive?
Maintaining the Kanban board for my tasks and listening to music while coding.

What is your favorite food?
My favorite foods are biryani and sushi.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy reading books, watching football and cricket, watching movies, and playing sports occasionally.

Describe your perfect weekend.
Spending time doing anything, as long as it feels peaceful.

Where are you located? How did you end up there?
I’m located in Mumbai. The city is very close to my hometown, and I also completed my undergraduate studies here.
