This SOC 2 Type 2 report confirms that Parspec’s systems and processes were not only appropriately designed, but also operated effectively over an extended period of time, in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria. Maintaining this level of compliance underscores our ongoing focus on protecting customer data while supporting the digital transformation of the AEC supply chain.
At Parspec, security and data protection are fundamental to how we build and operate our platform. Our teams across engineering, product, and operations work collaboratively to ensure that security controls are consistently applied and continuously monitored.
We perform regular vulnerability scans across production systems and conduct penetration testing as part of our broader security program. Security is embedded throughout our software development lifecycle, including structured reviews of new features and algorithms, as well as ongoing oversight of our software supply chain.
In addition to maintaining robust internal controls, we engage independent third-party auditors to provide objective validation of our security practices. Parspec partnered with Prescient Assurance, a trusted CPA firm specializing in security and compliance assessments for B2B SaaS companies, to conduct our SOC 2 Type 2 audit. Prescient issued an unqualified opinion, providing independent confirmation that our controls meet the applicable SOC 2 criteria.
SOC 2 is a compliance framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that defines criteria for managing customer data based on five Trust Services Categories: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
There are two types of SOC 2 reports:
A Type 2 report provides a higher level of assurance by demonstrating that controls are consistently followed and functioning as intended over time.
SOC 2 reports are unique to each organization and reflect its specific systems, policies, and business practices. Each report is independently audited by a licensed CPA firm and is intended for restricted use.
